D3LAB is an investigative design practice, exploring a technologically advanced and augmented approach towards addressing critical issues pertaining to urbanity, architecture and spatial elucidations which define our rapidly evolving society.
Our main focus is to fill the gap between experimental ideas and execution by redefining the design processes and their implications on the built environment. Hence we promote knowledge and expertise of computational design tools and advanced manufacturing technology to create interactive environments by facilitate designers, architects, engineers, makers and researchers to manifest their ideas and providing them a productive environment for experimentation and innovation.
Located primarily in Surat – India, D3LAB is an applied innovation design lab curated by NOUMENA; a collective group focused on computational design, research and education that investigates between the boundaries of new digital paradigms and design strategies, based in Barcelona – Spain. Hence together, Our multidisciplinary team strives to create interactive experiences in architecture, engineering and design by developing ideas in the realm of experimental designs and architectural concepts through seamless amalgamation of computational design with data analytics, generative frameworks, robotic simulations, interactive environment and digital fabrication.
